Special Corvette marks successSpecial Corvette marks success - The Corvette is a dream machine for millions of enthusiasts worldwide, but this version of the US muscle car is set to be even more desirable. To celebrate the car’s run of victories in the American Le Mans racing series, a special version of the coupé has been created. Called the Z06 Ron Fellows edition, it’s named after the Canadian driver who has scored multi­ple ALMS wins. The model comes in white with red stripes on the wings that bear his autograph. Under the skin is the 505bhp V8 from the standard Z06, which takes the car from 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds. (more…)

If you reply ‘underpowered’, you’re likely to be put in a straight jacket for your own protection. However, while the current car’s 345bhp is plenty by most drivers’ standards, it seems Corvette fans want more. And Chevrolet is only too happy to oblige. Imagine lying on a psychiatrist’s couch. New Corvette UnmaskedNew Corvette Unmasked - These are the first real spy-shots of the sixth generation Corvette, snapped in the 50th production year of the famous American car. he new model (’C6′) will go on sale as a 2005 model in late summer 2004 - but only in the U.S. Export to other markets is not planed. The 5.7-litre V8 under the bonnet will be tweaked to deliver some 430 HP.
