Hyundai Accent - The new 2006 Hyundai Accent looks like it will give ‘em everything they want – and maybe a bit more. Redesigned from the ground up, the Accent combines traditional Hyundai strengths of value and warranty coverage with top-shelf safety equipment, an improved design and more room on the inside.
Hyundai Veracruz – There’s one common element that ties the U.S. car market to the Indian caste system: Each strictly limits the social confines within which its “citizens†may exist. Toyota, Nissan and Honda realized this, and therefore created luxury brands to sell luxury products, a point Volkswagen would’ve been well served to heed with its Phaeton. Ignoring that lesson, Hyundai is stepping deeper into the premium pond with the all-new 2007 Veracruz crossover, upping the ante with top-notch materials, a hospitable cabin, and a well-equipped price that screams entry-luxury. Time will tell if shoppers are ready for a near-$40,000 Hyundai, or if the Veracruz is destined to sleep with the fishes, or Phaetons, as the case may be.
Hyundai Entourage – They say no one wants to buy minivans anymore. The reasons run to the typical: not sexy enough, not enough status in it for mommy or daddy. Yet minivans like the Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna sell briskly, often with waiting lists and salespeople click-clacking over MSRP deals. Perhaps, then, it’s really that a minivan has to be darn good to make it, thanks to picky shoppers and clever automakers who innovate and keep family needs front and center.
Hyundai Azera – Driving Impressions: Hyundai nudged Toyota to rank third behind Porsche and Lexus in a recent initial quality study performed by J.D. Power and Associates. Many industry insiders were surprised by this news, and the majority of consumers were stunned. After all, Hyundai has been synonymous with cheap wheels since the Excel debuted in 1986 only to begin malfunctioning and rusting before Ronald Reagan left the Oval Office. (more…)
Hyundai Elantra - Those Hyundai guys, they can be clever buggers. During the official launch of the 2007 Elantra at the 2006 New York International Auto Show, Hyundai’s vice president of product development, John Krafcik, boasted that his company’s updated sedan outclassed benchmarks like the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. Hyundai Sonata - Twenty years ago, Hyundai was a punchline. The oxymoronic Excel, like so many European and Japanese pioneers before it, was the first Korean car to come to America, where it promptly began to rust, stall, and cause consternation in consumers who foolishly thought that they might be getting something for nothing. Hyundai i30 – Built specifically for the European market and given a new naming convention, the Hyundai i30 hatchback goes on sale across the pond later this year and boasts three engines: two 1.6-liter four-cylinders making 113 and 120 horsepower, and a 2.0-liter engine that generates 141 horses. (more…)
From its BMW 5-Series-styled trunk lid to its cozy, spacious interior, the Hyundai Azera has a lot to offer. This is a very nice car at an extremely attractive price.
